Screaming O Completes Materials Testing Alongside Spring Product Launch
Semi-annual materials testing confirms products safe in all categories
LOS ANGELES – February 27, 2019 – Fulfilling its ongoing promise to consumers on issues of quality, health, and safety Screaming O has completed its latest round of materials testing of products for the spring season. Performed to coincide with semi-annual product launches, testing occurs at SGS Polymer Solutions, an accredited independent laboratory and is done in categories that mirror those outlined in the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, specifically to:
- Identify product’s chemical makeup
- Confirm absence of hazardous elements
- Certify future safety by verifying no leaching of potentially toxic substances
Screaming O has voluntarily submitted products for third party independent testing since 2015, helping the company build, and solidify a reputation of trust within the industry. “Our vendors and customers know we stand behind the quality and safety of every product we produce, and they rely on that. Screaming O is proud to hold itself to a higher standard and part of that is our commitment to independent materials testing.”, explains Account Executive Conde Aumann.
In each lab review, the following three materials Screaming O uses in its products were tested:
- Silicone – the flexible material used in the My Secret Charged Plug XL
- ABS – the smooth plastic used in the Charged® Ohare XL
- SEBS – the stretchy material used in the RingO rings
With this latest round of excellent test results, Screaming O reaffirms to consumers that each product can be enjoyed without reservation, fulfilling its promise to provide body-safe, sex positive products that are accessibly priced.
