Coming to theaters this weekend is the major motion picture “Hysteria,” a film Starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and John Dancy that delves into the wonderful history of the vibrator and how it came to be the orgasm-inducing pleasure device that we know it as today!
In the late 19th century, countless women started to come down with a medical malady called “hysteria” and its treatment involved a doctor manually stimulating the woman to orgasm. (Crazy, right?)
