Bawdy Storytelling, a sold out headliner show from San Francisco, is making its way south to test the glittery oil-slick waters of Los Angeles and host its first official SoCal show at El Cid tonight! The Screaming O has the honor of bestowing the winner of this month’s Story Slam a giant gift basket filled with our mini vibes, vibrating rings, swag and sexy goodies in exchange for telling the best, most lascivious bedroom adventure tale of the night.

Bawdy Storytelling invites real people to share their sexual exploits on stage and there’s often a couple of famous people in the mix – authors, poets, comedians and actors – sprinkled into the group of regular Joes and Janes. But the real challenge is keeping the stories at 10 minutes or less and trying not to embarrass yourself as you recount awkward, hilarious and sometimes titillating stories. And they all have to be 100% true -- but that’s what makes it all so exciting! Simply air out your dirty laundry and see what happens once the dust settles. (Chances are you’ll get a standing ovation.)

And we’re no stranger to risqué behavior, so the Scream Team will be repping hard in the audience with an air of appreciation as we wonder to ourselves, “Hm…have I done that before?”
