Lube reduces friction. That's the whole job. Less friction means more sensation, longer sessions, and a better experience for everyone involved.
But not all lubes are the same — and the wrong formula in the wrong situation can cause problems. Degraded toys, irritated skin, or a product that washes away the second you step into the shower.

How Much Lube Should You Use
More than you think. This is the most common mistake — using too little and wondering why things feel uncomfortable.
Start with a dime-sized amount and add more as needed. There's no such thing as too much lube. Reapply whenever things start to feel less smooth. You'll get a feel for the right amount quickly.
A small amount on the toy, a small amount where it's being used, and more as needed throughout. That's the whole method.
Lube and Condoms
Both Dynamo formulas are fully condom compatible — safe with latex, polyisoprene, and polyurethane condoms.
One thing to avoid: oil-based lubes with latex condoms. Oil degrades latex and increases the risk of breakage. Neither Dynamo formula contains oil, so you're covered either way.
Apply lube to the outside of the condom once it's on for the best glide. A small amount inside the tip can increase sensation for the wearer — just don't overdo it or the condom may shift.
How to Clean Up
Water-Based
Rinse with water. That's it. No soap required, no residue left behind.
Silicone
A little soap and warm water does the job. Slightly more effort than water-based but cleans up completely with a gentle wash.
Toy care
Clean toys immediately after use regardless of which lube you used. Warm water and mild unscented soap for silicone and TPE toys. Silicone toys can also be boiled or run through the top rack of the dishwasher without detergent.
